"As A Father"

Two times God uses "...as a father" to define and describe His actions toward His Children. 
"Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear Him." 
Psalm 103:13 (Dealing with Compassion). "For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; 
even as a father the son in whom he delighteth." Proverbs 3:12 (Dealing with Correction). 
Other verses to consider include Luke 11:11-13 and Hebrews 12:5-11. 

God as a heavenly father (Matthew 6:9,32) serves as the example for earthly fathers. 
But the Scriptures above reveal that God uses earthly fathers as His example. 
God uses earthly fathers to illustrate how He loves, corrects, protects and provides for His children.

My question is this: can God use you or me as a father for His example?
