"Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays?" Some places of business are instructed to say "Happy Holidays" instead of Merry Christmas, to be non-offensive to the wicked. But this should be very offensive to Christians. I might add that there is nothing wrong with saying "Happy Holidays," for holiday in the dictionary is "holyday," a holy day set aside for commemorating an important event in history. Christians commemorates the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, upon which hangs all Christian doctrine. But the motive behind their "Happy Holidays" statement is very clear, it is an attack on Christianity. The first six letters in Christmas is the reason for all the fuss. An unashamed effort of taking our Christian nation away from it's Christian foundation. Like Kind Herod, in the bible, who desired and was aggressively determined to kill the new born King, baby Jesus, because Jesus was a threat and hindrance to his cause and agenda. Even so, today Jesus and his followers are a hindrance to this world's cause and agenda, thus they are desiring to kill the influence of Jesus by rewriting history books, by casting prayer out of school, by changing laws, discarding the "ten commandments," changing the names and emphasis of "Christian holydays," etc. Someone said, "all it takes for the enemy to prevail is for good men to do nothing." The silence and willingness to look the other way of the Christian community, is to blame for our country being where it is today. Be reminded that Light is a stronger force than darkness. Darkness can only be effective in the absence of light. by Barry Rackley http://rbtonline.org
